Why Our Cash-on-Delivery Fee Is Higher
Deutsche Post/DHL publicly lists the cash-on-delivery fee as
€8.99 in addition to the package price

We pass on this exact amount—€9.00—and earn nothing from it.
The fact that other providers charge less is not a contradiction: Senders with high shipment volumes receive contractually agreed-upon special rates from
logistics service providers. We pay the regular rate and do not mark it up
— we simply cannot undercut it. If you want to avoid the fee entirely, choose our
prepayment option; there is no fee with that option.
The key point: price per gram
Shipping costs are charged once per order, while the price per gram is charged for each individual gram. That's why it's worth checking out
